Iris (stylized as i☆Ris) is a Japanese voice acting and singing female idol group, formed in 2012 by Avex.

It was formed with six members: Yamakita Saki, Serizawa Yu, Akaneya Himika, Wakai Yuki, Kubota Miyu and Shibuya Azuki with Yamakita as the leader. It was labeled a "hybrid group", because in addition to performing as singing idols, they together work as voice actresses. They provide the voices for main characters in the arcade game and anime franchise PriPara. In 2021, Shibuya Azuki graduated from the group to pursue her solo endeavours.

History

The group was formed as a result of the Anison Vocal Audition (アニソン・ボーカルオーディション) that was held in 2012, which the final 6 contestants were selected on July 7. On November 7, 2012, the group debuted with their first single titled "Color" under Avex.
